Register or sign in to Baltic Locals, then open your guide workspace. Ordinary membership does not create a professional listing or a verification badge.
Choose, save and submit
Select the correct profile before editing. Save privately and submit when ready. Material changes and each written translation need review. The last eligible approved version can remain public while a new draft is reviewed.
Three different language choices
A profile translation, the forum interface language and the languages in which you guide are separate. An unavailable profile translation is not silently replaced with English.
Checks have a defined scope
Identity and professional qualification checks are separate. Read the country, scope and dates shown for the profile. A check does not guarantee service quality, safety or availability. Expiry, revocation or suspension can remove public eligibility.
Keep evidence out of public areas
Follow the operator’s instructions for offline identity and qualification evidence. Never post these documents in discussions, Resources, Photos or an enquiry. Public photographs are not a document-submission route.
Publish useful travel information
Describe destinations, guiding languages and services accurately. Submit public travel photographs through the profile workflow and include the required rights and credit information. Draft content is not public merely because it has been saved.
Separate public and private information
Your forum account email is not automatically a public profile contact. Private drafts, enquiry conversations and complaint records are not public discussion posts. Use the privacy and terms pages for current policy information when their transfer is complete.
Keep availability accurate
Use the availability setting and, if useful, a short public explanation. While temporarily unavailable, you may give an expected return date. It is an estimate, not a booking calendar. Closing new enquiries does not erase an existing private conversation.
Tours and experiences
Propose an experience privately for review. An approved offer has one native Resource and one discussion. Material edits need review. An independent local provider is not presented as a qualified tourist guide merely for joining or offering an activity.
Ask for help safely
Use the community contact option when available. Include the page, action, exact on-screen message and approximate time. Remove private information from screenshots. Do not send passwords, private links, identity documents or qualification files through ordinary contact messages.
